License from the Commissioner Court of Hood
County to run a Ferry Boat on the Bazos River in Hood Co.,
where the Ft. Worth and Septhenville Road via Thorp's Spring
crossing. Said Lewis shall at all times keep good and suf-
ficient boats for the use of said Ferry and keep the banks on each side of the
river of said Ferry in good repair and so granted that the rise shall not
exceed one foot in every 7 feet from the waters edge to the top of the banks
and shall have said Ferry well attended at all times and comply with all the
requirements of law.
