Finding Coordinates

1. Visit the Maptech Map Server at URL http://mapserver.maptech.com

2. On top left of Maptech screen there is a place to enter the City. State or zip code at or near where your new feature is located then click on "GO".

3. Note that you can move the map by clicking on the red triangles located at the edges and corners of the map. You may also zoom in and out by clicking on the scale just below the map.

4. When you locate the area where you know your new feature to be located use your mouse to position the crosshairs (courser) on the exact location. The latitude and longitude of your feature will now be displayed near the lower left of the map.

5. Record these coordinates..

6. Return to the Submit Landmark page and enter the coordinates.
