William Frederick Fowler graduated from Baylor University with a B.A. in 1950 and M.A. in 1951. He was a student in Southwestern Seminary 1953-1959. In 1959 he was called as pastor of the First Baptist Church of Granbury. He presided as Moderator over the annual session of Paluxy Association in 1963. In 1964 he joined the staff of the First Baptist Church of Brownwood, and later was with the Coggin Avenue Baptist Church of the same city. During the 1970's he was on the staff of East Texas State University, Commerce, Texas; Tarrant County Junior College, Fort Worth, Texas; and Cedar Valley College, Dallas.
