J. J. Garner died at Granbury Friday.

J. J. Garner, former citizen of Waxahachie, died yesterday at Granbury, Texas, and will be buried here this afternoon following funeral services at the Spalding undertaking parlors. The deceased lived in Waxahachie until a few years ago, and was a familiar figure on the streets. He came to town from his farm many years ago and for along time operated a job wagon here. He had reached a ripe old age, being about 84 years old.
